Firing Control Systems

The Fire Control System executes and controls the servo-mechanisms for stabilisation of the sighting system and weapon system in accordance with the operating mode of the system.

The control system design architecture tightly integrated with the FCS allows outstanding Line of Fire (LOF) stability during terrain crossing including APG track and cross-country maneuvering.

The Firing Control System (FCS ) main functions are:

·      Operation management (modes, working states, diagnostic)

·      Communication with Gunner Opto-Electronic unit, management of Line of Sight

·      Line of Fire Servo Control

·      Ballistic Calculations in elevation and azimuth

·      Video Switching, the camera control and LRF

·      Interface to the Electrical Drive System, Control and Mangement Subsystems

·      Diagnostic functions

·      Support for ATGM solution
